A Free Community Event – BRING LAWN SEATING In the event of inclement weather, check our Facebook Page Activities include: 

  • Creating a Sturgeon Puppet (6-7pm) A hands-on workshop open to all ages.  Atlantic Sturgeon are the largest and longest-lived fish of the Hudson Estuary. Help paper-mache the clay form that will become another beautiful puppet in Arm-of-the-Sea’s storied bestiary.
  • An Illustrated History of the Sheffield Paper Mill – (6:30pm) Arm-of-the-Sea co-founder Patrick Wadden will present a brief history of the site that is now becoming the Tidewater Center.
  • Transformation: A Theater Workshop with Shelley Wyant (7-8pm) Actors and non-actors alike are invited to jump into this lively workshop with master acting teacher Shelley Wyant as we explore transformation through objects, found sound, motion, and chocolate. Let your Self be stretched and changed!
