Waterfront Wednesdays is the Tidewater Center’s weekly performance night, featuring pre-show activities such as a live aquarium, an interactive stream table, the Mill Museum, arts & crafts activities and more. Doors and pre-show activities begin at 6:00pm and Arm-of-the-Sea performs a full-length show at 7:15. Local opening acts and workshops TBA.
Arm-of-the-Sea will perform FROM RAGS TO RICHES: Stories of a Saugerties Paper Mill. This historic drama is based on the water-powered paper mill that operated for 135 years on the Tidewater site. This show is a work-in-progress, with new scenes being added each week during the month-long series of Waterfront Wednesdays, with the finale culminating for this last show on July 30th.
Featured opening act at 6:30pm: Saugerties Sings - this local choir welcomes all individuals regardless of singing experience. The group emphasizes the joy and therapeutic benefits of singing.

Arm-of-the-Sea will perform FROM RAGS TO RICHES: Stories of a Saugerties Paper Mill. This historic drama is based on the water-powered paper mill that operated for 135 years on the Tidewater site. This show is a work-in-progress, with new scenes being added each week during the month-long series of Waterfront Wednesdays.

Fusing cutting-edge science and age-old puppetry, DIRT takes audiences on an extravagant journey of discovery into the Great Underneath—revealing the epic alchemy of plants, the fungi’s dance of mutual delight, and the microbes’ herculean labors. Featuring live music and a myriad of puppet figures ranging from 12 inches to 12 feet tall, the show reminds earthly residents of all ages how profoundly essential is the ground beneath their feet.

Riparian Rhapsody @ New Hartford River Rocks Festival
Riparian Rhapsody is a puppet extravaganza dives into local Connecticut ecology to reveal the intricate interactions between Forest & Stream and lyrically makes the case for protecting streamside buffer zones. Featuring stunning visuals, live music, and a singing Bear! Learn about conservation efforts stewarded by the New Hartford Land Trust in this lively ecological performance.
