Hudson River Education At The Tidewater Center!
We are excited to announce that the NYS DEC is has awarded us a 3-year grant to establish a diverse offering of Hudson River educational programs at Tidewater Center. These will include hands-on opportunities to learn about local fish, measure water quality, and explore a model of the Hudson River watershed.
In October 2023 we plan to host student groups at the Saugerties Lighthouse as part of the “Day in the Life of the Hudson River” program. We will also be developing a 5-day experiential Arts & Science Camp. We plan to pilot this “Tidewater Experience” program in 2024!
